Q - Who is Druken Carl and where do you go to do his quests? Just noticed there are achievements for this.
A - Okay, found out that you go to Omen Islands then you have to go to Port Plunder, from there you click on the barrels between the buildings. He is just a drunken pirate like the rest of them.
Q - Should I vend or sell tokens that I get from questing?
A - This is the age old question. It is really just a personal preference. Sometimes you make more money by just selling them, and sometimes you get lucky while vending them and can make a fortune. It really just comes down to whether you want the easy money (tokens sell quick and easy) or if you would rather take the time to vend and sort through items. A tip for vending, is to vend at the appropriate vending machine when new items come out. Here is a nice vending guide if you decide to vend your tokens: Vending Guide
Q - is there a shop i can go to to donate some of my money to the cult?
A - Front page when you click my cult, push bank and then push donate at the bottom.
Q - What does donated money go to??
A - The cult bank funds the lottery, events we run (prizes and such), different games' prizes.
Q - Does it matter /which/ books you read to a pet, as in do the subjects affect anything like getting jobs, making scrolls, etc.? Or is this a quantity over quality thing?
A - Books are books. It's quantity only that counts. So the cheap-o books count the same as the ones in the millions, and a book about toys is the same as a book about battle strategies. You can only read each once to each pet, but other than that, they're all the same. For every 16 intelligence points you get one alchemy point which determines what scrolls you can make and learn at the secluded shrine in the sacred lands.
Q - What I want to know NOW is what do I do about the other quests on the website? I can't seem to find any guides on which quests are good to do, and how much to spend.
A - Hmmm, the Saggitarius quests are always good. On those, I typically only spend 20k if he ask for one item, 30k if he ask for two, 40k if he ask for three items, and around 50-60k if he ask for four items. You can usually always tell what kind of mood he is in by what kind of sp rewards he gives you, so that way you can judge if it's gonna be a good reward day (so then maybe you can spend a little more) or a bad reward day (and then you might want to cut back how much you are spending if he doesn't give you back what you spent). I can usually tell after about two or three quests.
Also, the Computer Quests are good. I usually keep it under 5-7k per item asked for him. And pete is decent as long as you don't spend more than 2500 for a common or normal item, and maybe 7k for a rare item that he asks for.
I'd say do the Item Hunt game, as well. Chase gives out 1k for every level up to 20, then 2k per level to 50, then 3k per level (so level 22 gets you 44k and level 53 gets you 159k). Just don't spend a lot more than you're going to get back (except up to level 10) until you get your fortune made. Then you can worry about the achievement.
Also, if you are doing your wizard quests, vending your tokens is an excellent way to make more money. Or, you could just sell all your tokens. But I personally vend all of mine. Oh, and vending right after new items are released is a little trick to making some money if you are lucky enough to vend some of the new items. If you want a vending guide, you can look here: Crashy\'s Profile. She always keeps it on her profile.
Q - Tips for selling expensive items?
A - Yes, if you are really wanting to sell it, I suggest just putting it in your shop and pricing it slightly lower than the lowest priced one in the shop search. That way, when someone searches for that specific item, yours will be the cheapest and will be listed first, which is the ones that people always buy. But don't forget that if you don't sell it you need to recheck current shop prices and reprice yours if need be. Also, if you can try to put it up for trade and/or auction. But only do those if you are willing to discount.
Q - Anyone know how to separate paragraphs in this beast so I can break things apart and not have one big block of nonsense?
A - Lol, it's just [ br ] without the spaces. [ p ] works the same too I believe. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I just end up using the [ br ] a couple times together to get my paragraphs.
