Right now "All About that Bass" by Megan Trainor is on the radio. I've been listening to a lot of alternative rock from the late 90's to early 00's.. Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Die Trying, Smile Empty Soul, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed.. etc.

I'm really loving this song right now.. she kind of reminds me of Lorde.
Here's another one I like.. you may have heard it before since Keith posted it as one of the videos to watch for CSC a while back. I also like his Napoleon Dynamite style dancing hah. The second one is another by the same artist I just happened to find while looking for the first video.. and it's pretty awesome (if not slightly weird).
...and one from a band I'm really loving right now. I found this accidentally and I think it's brilliant! I have their debut album.. all of the songs are pretty good. Nice relaxing music to chill out to. For some reason when I listen to the CD I feel the need to hang out by a fire on the beach.

I love Tove Lo. They play her alot on Alt Nation and The Pulse. I really like "Blackout Days" by Phantogram right now.

My favourite new band is Arctic Monkeys ... however, right now I am listening to Dotan - Home ... just discovered it and I am loving it.  Get me started on the music topic and I could go on forever .. hehe. |
